"My family has been coming to stay at the Mountaineer for over a decade now. For weeks at a time we enjoy Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains with this hotel as our base camp. Relative to other hotels here, and there aren't many, it's a bargain. No phone, or free wireless? Not a problem - some people obviously need a reminder that you don't come here for those things. You're in the middle of paradise. The rooms are just what we need, the staff are helpful and friendly."
"As others have written, this is a very delightful and relaxing hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and our room was very clean, spacious and affordable.
We had debated whether to "upgrade" to a more expensive hotel, but I am very glad that we did not because I suspect that this was a much better quality then much more expensive facilities.
We would definately stay here if we return!"
