"The Mountaineer Lodge is all about personal service. We stayed there almost every summer. The front desk clerks are extremely helpful, polite and courteous. They reserved the same room for us every time as we requested. Most surprisingly, they always put two extra pillows for me and my husband before we checked in to the room after they knew that from our first visit in 1997. Hotel cleanliness is beyond expectations, not only the room, also the lobby, hot tub area, corridor everywhere. We would like to say thank you for the whole staff team for its excellence and friendliness and will see you again in next summer!"

"Just returned from a week in the national parks, and this was perhaps our favorite hotel. We stayed in the old building, upstairs (not ground floor). It was very quiet, the shower was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. All the hotels in this small area seem very expensive, but we were quite satisfied with this one!"

"I get the same room with a superb view of Mount Temple every time i come. The staff welcome me back and make me feel at home. They always endeavor to provide anything we might want. I have a very high maintenance wife, and she is happy here. Sure we would like a few more amenities, but everything is available nearby, and the economy of The Mountaineer Lodge makes it possible for us to have our family reunion every year through lean times or other."

"We travel in September to avoid the busy season in Lake Louise. We decided to stay at the Mountaineer Lodge which had a perfect location. The front desk were charming, efficient, with wonderful hospitality. They went on extra mile to help and accommodate us which should be commended and recognized. We would love to re-visit Lake Louise and stay here again."

"Mountaineer Lodge, settled in the village of Lake Louise, was exactly what we needed this fall! From city life to the Alberta's mountain playground, we just wanted to escape the crowds and relax on our vacation. The staff were friendly and helpful with attraction and dining information, and our room was very clean, spacious and affordable. They have a whirlppol and steam room on site which helped us both after a day of hiking and visiting the famous lake. There are a variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance, but we were there just to relax. Finally,there are no phones in their rooms and that just made our vacation a little more peaceful! We plan to return next year."
